Training Self Leadership Under Pressure
Corestead workshops use strength training as an embodied laboratory — helping individuals and groups develop steadiness, awareness, and effective action when things get heavy.
Signature Workshop: Lifting From Within
An Embodied Self-Leadership Workshop
Introduces participants to the Corestead Method — a four-phase framework for understanding how people respond to pressure.
Using reflection, discussion, and simple embodied practices, participants explore how internal dynamics that appear in the gym also show up in leadership, work, and everyday life.
The workshop moves through four phases:
Stabilize · Open · Mobilize · Integrate
Participants explore:
How pressure, doubt, urgency, and self-criticism show up under load
How to recognize their patterns sooner
How to return to steadiness in body and mind
How lessons from training translate into life beyond the gym
Ideal for: gyms and fitness communities, wellness events, organizations focused on resilience and employee wellbeing, universities and student programs
What Participants Gain
Practical tools to:
Regulate during challenging moments
Recognize internal patterns under pressure
Organize effort without forcing
Build resilience and self-trust
Reflect on experience and carry learning forward
The goal is not to eliminate pressure. The goal is to develop the capacity to stay with yourself when pressure appears.
